Glass-staining ruby. Black raspberry and kirsch on the nose, with anise and lavender pastille nuances adding complexity. Juicy, energetic dark fruit flavors are given spine by juicy acidity. The chewy tannins fade away on the finish, which leaves sweet floral pastille, cola and berry notes behind. This is a blend of 75% grenache and 25% syrah.
