($60) Medium red. Slow to open on the nose, reluctantly offering aromas of black cherry, redcurrant, licorice and smoke. Solid and supple but less pliant and expressive today than most of this set; there's good, deep fruit here but it comes across as a bit muzzled right now. Green says that this will become richer with bottle age, by the way. Finishes with silky tannins and very good energy and cut.
