92 Points | International Wine Cellar , November/December 2010

($44) Inky ruby. Ripe aromas of blackberry and cherry compote, licorice and smoky herbs. Sweet cherry cola and dark berry flavors show the ripeness of the vintage but don't come off as heavy. On the contrary, this wine is impressively energetic, with impressive finishing clarity and persistence. As it opened up, a sexy floral quality emerged, along with a hint of mocha. Many of these vines reportedly date back to 1901. (Fine Estates from Spain, Dedham, MA)
