Full ruby-red.  Tarry blackberry, black cherry, licorice and graphite on the nose, lifted by a note of violet.  Juicy and vibrant but primary and tight, with a medicinal reserve to the black fruit, licorice and mineral flavors.  Precise and fine-grained but youthfully folded in on itself.  Finishes with suave, mouthcoating tannins and lovely lift.  Enjoy the basic 2007 cabernet while allowing this one more time to evolve in the bottle.

Opened our first bottle of this order last night. This is a beautiful bottle of wine, even at a young age. It shows the smoothness typical of Spring Mountain Cabs, but there's plenty of body there as well. I should have ordered more, but at least I know there are three more bottles to really look forward to.

Absolutely incredibly delicious! I wish for only more bottles. This is one memorable Cabernet Sauvignon. It's one to measure others by. It has everything that it should have going for it. I only wish I could have bought more!
This wine rocks
I just love it ...period. Keenan make some fantastic wines and this one won't disappoint. No fancy descriptions needed.

Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon built its reputation on Bordeaux's Left Bank. Moving slightly south, Cabernet Sauvignon meets Merlot in roughly equal proportions in the red wines of Graves. In both of these Bordeaux regions, the top bottles...
