Palish medium red.  Expressive, perfumed aromas of redcurrant, flowers, minerals and rust.  Sexy soil tones are lifted by pungent smoky minerality and a peppery note from the one-third whole clusters.  Taut but not at all hard.  In fact, this Beaune wine finishes with very suave tannins.  This has turned out very nicely.
