Medium red.  Slightly high-toned aromas of licorice and minerals; a bit less pristine than the 2009.  Juicy and penetrating, with enticing crushed cherry and berry flavors framed by piquant acidity.  Pungent, concentrated wine with a persistent, energetic, brisk finish.  Gives a drier impression than the 2009 version but does not come across as green.
