About Domaine Jean-Marc & Hugues Pavelot
Jean-Marc Pavelot, now joined by his son Hughes, maintains what is arguably the top estate in the underappreciated village of Savigny-lès-Beaune...
87-90 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - March/April 2010
Bright ruby-red. Black cherry, licorice and herbs on the nose. Shows a distinctly darker fruit quality in the mouth than the Serpentieres, with notes of licorice and leather. Slightly high-toned, fleshy wine with good soil character. Spreads out nicely on the back end. Showing well.
