About Domaine Comte Georges de Vogue
With it's iconic rooster emblem, Domaine Comte Georges de Vogue is one of the most recognizable and revered producers of the Cote de Nuits. Much of this has to do with the estate owning nearly three-quarters of the grand cru Musigny, considered by some to be the finest Pinot Noir vineyard in the world. Founded in 1450, Comte Georges de Vogue managed to gain early stakes in some of Burgundy's most exceptional vineyards.

Deep red. Briary raspberry, blueberry, mocha and menthol on the nose, lifted by peppery spices; a real essence of this grand cru. Then creamier and larger-scaled than the Chambolle premier cru, with the sweet berry fruit flavors enlivened by the peppery component and savory soil tones on the back. This really tickles the taste buds on the broad, firmly tannic, very long finish.
