Bright red-ruby. Aromas of sour cherry, smoke and herbs, with a menthol nuance. Then juicy and spicy but a bit reticent and medicinal, showing good cut and acidity. In a more elegant style than the Peuillets but finishes with a touch of drying wood tannins (one of three barrels here were new).
