($25) Light red. Musky red and dark berry aromas are complemented by smoky minerals, orange zest and dried rose; smells like a cru Beaujolais from a top producer. Light-bodied, primary red fruit flavors are slightly bitter and turn more tangy on the back end. Very fresh and easy to drink but I imagine that some will find this lacking heft and intensity. Finishes with zesty mineral cut and modest persistence. (Weygandt-Metzler Importing, Unionville PA)
