90 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - May/June 2010

($38) Deep, bright red. Exotic and expressive on the nose, showing dark berry and cherry preserve and floral scents, along with sexy floral and smoky herbal character. Sweet blackberry and cherry flavors are complemented by smoke, rose and gingerbread qualities, picking up a bitter licorice note with air. This already-complex wine finishes with strong thrust and lingering sweetness.
