90 Points | International Wine Cellar , March/April 2011

Medium-deep red with a hint of garnet at the rim. Aromatically compressed on the nose due to the hot year, but already showing lovely notes of orange peel, ripe red cherry, tobacco and leather. Enters very smooth and supple, with ripe red fruit flavors, then turns quite tannic at the back. The very long finish features concentrated red cherry and licorice flavors. An outstanding wine given the difficult year.
