($14; no oak) Bright ruby. Spicy blueberry and boysenberry aromas are complemented by a touch of smoky herbs. Picks up a hint of licorice with air, which adds a serious quality to the juicy black and blue fruits. A varietally accurate rendition of the grape, finishing with good grip and a touch of herbal bitterness.
