Vivid red.  Spicy, high-toned aromas of crushed strawberry and raspberry, with sexy Asian spice and floral accents.  Juicy and brisk, with enticing red berry, gingerbread and rose pastille flavors.  Finishes with suave, integrated tannins and excellent persistence.  This wine was raised in 50% new oak but the wood influence is subtle; it should age well on its balance.
