About Beckmen Vineyards
When winemaker Steve Beckmen returned from Italy in 1997, he was convinced that his family's recently purchased hillside in Santa Barbara County would be perfect for growing Rhône varietals. His father Tom was skeptical, but since then, Purisima Mountain Vineyard has established itself as one of the finest sources of Syrah and Grenache in the Central Coast.

Plush & Mouthwatering

This is our third consecutive vintage purchase of the Beckman Rose and I have to say...this is the best ever! With ripe strawberry, cream and rose petal flavors dominating, this rose has just enough fruit sweetness to marry with the crisp acidity and fresh finish. The balancing act between a sluggish and clumsy sweet blush and this fine example of bone dry european rose is a very fine line and Beckman does it again. Your first case will not be enough!!!
Great American Alternative Rose

It's good to see the Americans producing dry roses - finally! This is one of the better American roses on the market, solid taste, crisp and drinkable, without the cloying sweetness of most pinks on the market these days. Good value for the price.

I'm not a big rose fan but do enjoy it in the summer slightly chilled. This one has good flavor and is on the dry side. Not very complex but what you are looking for when you chill a wine to sip on in the summer months.
