90-93 Points | International Wine Cellar , May/June 2010

Good deep ruby-red. Redcurrant, blueberry, tobacco and minerals on the somewhat cool nose. Then sweet and generous in the mouth, with a fine-grained texture to the flavors of currant, fruitcake, crushed rock and scorched earth. This nicely ripe but restrained wine finishes with firm tannins that avoid coming off as dry. Wears its oak more gracefully than the 2007.
