($35; barrel-fermented in new oak, then aged in tank and bottled earlier than the Georgia sauvignon) Bright yellow. Aromas of hay, lemon drop and mint, with a suggestion of green tropical fruits. Juicy and fruity but not at all metallic, with pineapple and lemon ice flavors complicated by spice notes of ginger and nutmeg. A slight phenolic edge leavens this wine's viscosity and contributes refreshment value. This would work well with some spicy Asian dishes.
