($22) Light, lurid purple. Reticent but fresh aromas of cherry, violet, minerals and tobacco. Juicy, minty and tightly wound, showing typical cabernet franc solidity and herbacity and hiding its flesh and sweetness today. Finishes youthfully austere, with a firm mineral spine and solid grip. This may need some time to unwind.
