Inky purple. Pure aromas of red cherry, blackberry jelly and coffee. A supple, sweet and tasty midweight, with expressive flavors of redcurrant, cocoa and smoky oak. There are still some youthfully aggressive tannins on the moderately long finish, but the wine's acidity is nicely integrated, giving it a savory quality and considerable early appeal.
