($30) Pale yellow. Fresh orange and honeydew aromas are complemented by dusty minerals and white flowers. Herb-laced citrus and melon flavors pack a solid punch and gain sweetness and sappiness with air. Finishes with lingering spiciness, a sneaky floral note and very good, tangy persistence. This very refreshing chardonnay shows good complexity now but is balanced to reward a few more years of patience.
