90 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - July 2010

Bright saturated red. Enticing nose of ripe raspberry, mocha, sweet pipe tobacco and minerals. Sweet, creamy and dense, with lovely red berry and underbrush flavors of striking purity. This fine-grained, densely packed and wonderfully refined Brunello is amazingly accessible and already hard to resist. A bit more length would have earned it an even higher score, but this is very well done. (Martin-Scott Wines, Ltd., Lake Success NY)
