($35) Deep red. An intensely perfumed bouquet displays fresh red berries, flowers and herbs, with an exotic hint of singed orange. High-pitched red berry and cherry flavors are given spine by juicy acidity and show very good clarity, with a spicy kick on the back half. This tangy, precise wine finishes with good youthful snap and mineral-driven persistence.
