($8; 100% monastrell; no oak) Bright red. Medicinal red and dark berry aromas are complemented by notes of licorice and herbs. Brisk and tightly focused raspberry and bitter cherry flavors show good clarity, with zesty acidity adding spine. Finishes with an echo of redcurrant and good persistence. No excess fat here.
