($20) Bright, pale silvery yellow. Pungent aromas of underripe pineapple, grapefruit, green apple and fresh herbs, with a suggestion of lanolin. Then dense, smooth and dry in the middle, with bracing citrus pith and pepper flavors. Turns a tad bitter on the end. This uncompromising sauvignon could use a bit more flesh and breadth.
