Medium-deep red. Ripe aromas of red cherry, smoky plum, minerals and coffee. Rich and luscious, but with noteworthy precision and lift to the red cherry and plum flavors. Finishes with smooth tannins and excellent length. A less generous and more tannic and herbal version than some previous vintages of Poggio all'Oro but very impressive as always.
