Glass-staining ruby.  Powerfully scented bouquet of blackberry and candied cherry complicated by cracked pepper, minerals and incense.  Fleshy and deeply pitched, with sweet dark berry flavors, hints of bitter chocolate and licorice, and dusty tannins.  Firms up on the back end but shows noteworthy vivacity and finishes with good mineral lift and cut.
