(70% chardonnay and 30% pinot noir; disgorged May, 2011):  Green-tinged yellow.  Pineapple, pear, candied ginger and vanilla bean on the scented nose, with a chalky overtone adding lift.  Dry and impressively focused, offering lively citrus and orchard fruit flavors that pick up smokiness and exotic floral and spice qualities with air.  Leaves a strong mineral note behind on the long, spicy, floral-accented finish.
