($60) Bright red-ruby. Plum, redcurrant, mocha, cola and sandalwood on the nose. Rich, creamy and deep but lively, with good lift and definition to the flavors of dark plum, graphite, spices, sassafras, licorice and truffle. Finishes with lush, broad tannins and excellent length. Handles its 15% alcohol nicely.
