About Penner-Ash Wine Cellars
Nestled between the Chehalem Mountains and the Red Hills of Dundee, Penner-Ash’s picturesque winery sits on an 80 acre estate, 15 of which is planted to Pinot Noir. The M.O. around here is rich, assertive Pinot that nicely balances freshness and palate impact. One would have to look no further than the Estate Dussin Vineyard Pinot Noir to understand what we mean.

($55) Bright ruby-red. Fresh and seductively aromatic scents of black raspberry, cherry-cola, pipe tobacco, mocha, graphite and spicecake. Penetrating and sweet, with very good delineation to the red and dark berry and spice flavors. Suavely integrated acidity and an intriguing floral nuance give this wine a light touch. Finishes with fine-grained tannins and lovely lift and persistence. Offers compelling complexity and vibrancy, as well as good mid-term aging potential. These are all Dijon clones, according to Penner-Ash.
