About Penner-Ash Wine Cellars
Nestled between the Chehalem Mountains and the Red Hills of Dundee, Penner-Ash’s picturesque winery sits on an 80 acre estate, 15 of which is planted to Pinot Noir. The M.O. around here is rich, assertive Pinot that nicely balances freshness and palate impact. One would have to look no further than the Estate Dussin Vineyard Pinot Noir to understand what we mean.

Producer: Penner-Ash Wine Cellars
Style: Red Wine
Grape Type: Pinot Noir
Origin: Oregon
Region: Willamette Valley
92(+?) Points | International Wine Cellar , July/August 2010
($55) Vivid ruby. More withdrawn on the nose than the previous wines, slowly opening to offer deep red and dark berry scents and suggestions of anise and dried flowers. Nicely concentrated and deep in blackberry and cherry flavors, with the anise note repeating. Becomes spicier and more floral with air, finishing with a wallop of sweet berry flavor and lingering tannins. Give this air or some bottle age.
