($29) Vivid red. Fresh red berries and spicecake on the nose, with notes of rose and mint adding lift. Light, focused and bracing on the palate, with slightly wound-up strawberry and raspberry flavors. I like this wine's clarity and cut but there's a drop-off in the middle that tempers my enthusiasm. Finishes brisk and pure but a bit short, with the strawberry note repeating.
