($100) Bright medium red. Vibrant red fruits and flowers on the nose, with sexy Asian spices adding complexity. Juicy, palate-staining raspberry and cherry flavors are complemented by cinnamon, anise and candied rose, picking up a subtle blood orange quality with air. The finish features a penetrating spicy note of star anise and leaves a sweet raspberry flavor behind. Vine Street Imports, Philadelphia PA)
