Juicy red fruit flavors are braced by zesty acidity and pick up a peppery, spicy quality on the back end. This racy, precise pinot finishes with very good punch and lingering red berry and floral notes.

This wine was absolutely fabulous! Best Pinot Noir I've had in a long time. I served it for Christmas dinner and everyone gave it rave reviews. I just wish I would have ordered more than 6 bottles!
I served this wine on New Year's Eve. Everyone agreed that it was one of the most elegant Pinots that had ever tasted. Smooth with just the right amount of spice with a long nice finish.
Hint of Burgundy in Oregon

I very much enjoy pinot noir, however, prefer the earthiness and complexity of Burgundy over PN grown in other regions that promote fruit and berry over more complex and age worthy qualities. Lately I encounted a few PN from the North West that host some of Burgundy's character. The 08 Solena Grande Cuvee is one, even though it is their entry level PN. With 5-8 years of age worthiness it will be interesting to see how it develops, that is if I can restain from drinking it all now. Excellent wine and value. I wonder what their single vineyard offerings taste like ? ? A vineyard that warrants further investigation.

...not undecided about the quality of this wine but whether to drink it now or lay some down for a rainy day. Aw what the hell, let's drink it. Then the burden will be on you to come up with something as good for that rainy day. You folks do a fine job. Couldn't be happier with your selections and your service.

Just did a 3-month-later tasting. Much better. Hmmm. Was it me or the wine? This HAS fruit. A better finish.... Oh well...
Adequate and better than most
Typical of most Pinot Noirs, a lighter body, but very pleasant, and has gone with a variety of foods.
How did this get a ~90~???
Fruit??? I detect almost none. Flavor? Ditto. I am all for the light Gevery Chambertin-type Pinot, but this is without character, body or flavor.
