($16) Vivid ruby. Smoky strawberry and raspberry aromas are complicated by cooler suggestions of herbs and menthol. Juicy and fine-grained, with good lift and clarity to the mid-palate. The tannins are silky and harmonious, allowing the fruit to stand out. There's a pinot-like quality to this wine's texture and fruitiness.
