($19) Opaque ruby. Ripe dark berries and singed plum on the nose. Distinctly ripe but still fresh, offering sweet blackberry and plum flavors and a touch of bitter cherry skin. Finishes with good cling and sweetness, betraying a bit of alcoholic warmth on the back end.
