($30) Light yellow. Musky orange, grapefruit pith and white pepper aromas, plus a smoky, stony element. Dense, supple and surprisingly dry; in fact, this comes off as slightly austere, with a restraint that puts me smack into Piedmont Zesty acidity adds spine to the spicy citrus and herb flavors. In a distinctly restrained style, finishing with very good clarity and tangy cut.
