(vinified in oak, then aged in cuve): Pale, bright yellow. Closed, strongly mineral nose hints at peach pit and lemon. Quite backward on the palate, showing very dry, tactile flavors of crushed stone, lemon, grapefruit and spices. Finishes with a hint of spice but does not come across as overly oaky. This just-bottled wine will need a year or two to begin to absorb its acidity.
