About Domaine William Fevre
Fevre was once good. Now it's great. In fact, the improvement of this house is one of the most exciting developments in Chablis in the past 20 years. The ownership of the Henriot family of Champagne, which also owns Bouchard Père et Fils in Beaune, has resulted in a striking transformation.
2009 Domaine William Fevre Chablis Vaillons
Producer: Domaine William Fevre
Style: White Wine
Grape Type: Chardonnay
Origin: France
Region: Burgundy
Appellation: Chablis
90 Points | International Wine Cellar , July/August 2011
Bright, pale, green-tinged yellow. Lemon and spices on the nose, plus a riper whiff of apricot. Rich and fruity, with good mouthfilling density nicely buffered by integrated acidity. More fruity than minerally, but the finish shows a tactile dusty quality and very good shape and grip.
