Light yellow. Sexy, highly complex nose melds white peach, white truffle, hazelnut and baked bread. Concentrated and quite ripe but juicy, with good mineral spine to the flavors of peach, lime and crushed stone. The tactile minerality gives this wine an impression of dryness and very good grip. Really dusts the palate with flavor on the long, subtle, sharply delineated finish. This was bottled in February of this year.

Worthy of the Grand Cru designation

I've been sampling and enjoying the various Premier Cru offerings from WA, but felt like something special last evening. We both had a tough week at work and my wife wanted home-made crab cakes. This bottle was just the ticket. Beautiful light color, and a complex and addictive nose I couldn't stop sniffing. But the flavors stole the show - as they should. The wine was delicious all by itself, but worked wonderfully with the crab cakes. Clean, pure, and mineral-driven, this wine glided across the tongue and down the throat. I served it cooler than cellar temp, but not too chilled so it showed well. It definitely hit my sweet spot for this region's wines.
