($30) Bright red. Expressive aromas of red cherry, red plum, minerals and violet. Dense, pliant and lively, with penetrating flavors of red cherry, pomegranate, redcurrant jelly and minerals. Impressively rich and nuanced for a red wine in this price range, with lovely mouthwatering acidity greatly extending the flavors on the long, smooth finish. Outstanding Chianti.
