(100% merlot) Good red-ruby. Exotic, perfumed aromas of very ripe dark berries, licorice and violet. A supple, sweet, nicely energetic midweight, boasting very good breadth to its black fruit and sweet oak flavors. Here the fine-grained, ripe tannins reach the front teeth. Offers lovely balance for 2007 and finishes spicy and long. I'd hold this for a couple years, then drink it over the next seven or eight.
