Pale yellow.  High-pitched and more citrus-driven than the 2008, offering vibrant lemon, lime, green apple and spice scents, with the oak far in the background.  Spicy and pure, with incisive orchard and citrus fruit flavors that stain the palate.  Becomes spicier with air and finishes with suave floral and mineral qualities and outstanding persistence.
