Medium-dark red. Initially reduced nose opens with air to reveal enticing aromas of ripe red cherry, white pepper, and minerals. Fleshy, dense and sweet, with ripe strawberry and red cherry flavors complicated and enlivened by cedar and bay leaf. Finishes with noteworthy minerality and a trace of heat.
