Understated Excellence

Keenan's wines are well made with structure, flavor, and finish. You can always count on the smooth, deep and long wines they make. This one is eveything I expected and is a truly fine wine.
Loved this wine!

Consistantly Good

Does not seem to have the inconsistancy from bottle to bottle that some wines have. Bold complex flavor, nice finish, goes well with almost any food and enough flavor to stand alone. Catch youself holding a mouthful to prolong flavor and finish.

The flavor was unique, brisk at first, then more fruity then evened out in a deliciously mellow finish. Very good now even without decanting.

Nice and dry with some body to it. May be good to let breathe for a bit before drinking. I'll have another glass and see, LOL!

Really a pretty nice cab! not a robust wine, but easy to drink, low tannins, nice fruit, needs to be opened up before drinking..very nice
Good Napa Cab.,but not a Good Value

Light fruity aroma, but little complexity. Smooth taste with full body due to alcohol and light on the fruit. Overpriced compared to other $35 Napa cabs.

So So
Not such a Happy 30th Anniversary

Day 1: Dried black currant, some soy sauce, little oak on nose. Cassis and earthy bramble, soft minerality with hints of oak persist. Dry, long finish with dried currants and black tree fruit, little French oak, faint smoke. Structure is lacking and the fruit is dusty at turn in through finish, no bold power to grab you. Feeling let down. Day 2: flat, period, structure fell apart completely even with 55 temp and argon preservation. Combined: 84/C+

A little weak for what I expect from a Cabernet.
Disappointing

Last place in our cab tasting vs Cali 351, Bell and Farella Park. Very tight, tannic I will decant for a couple days next time
nice keeps getting nicer

young, fruit forward wine...was good out of the bottle, better after an our of decanting. Could be excellent with another year or two in the bottle.
