Moderately saturated medium red, deeper than most other Passopisciaro wines. Musky redcurrant, ripe red cherry, raspberry jam and spices on the nose, along with a sweet hint of vanilla. Suave on entry, then plush and silky in the middle, with high but harmonious acidity giving shape to the sweet red fruit flavors. The velvety finish features sweet tannins and very good length. This seamless wine is accessible already but will develop in bottle for another 10 or 15 years.
