Bright golden yellow. Bracing aromas of peach, apricot, rose water and minerals on the deep, refined nose. Offers attractive freshness and plenty of spicy tropical fruit flavors on the long, clean finish. Though slightly less complex and dense on the palate than the nose led me to expect, this gently styled, very well-balanced sweet wine is long on easy-drinking appeal. Tenuta Capofaro is also a world-class island resort built by Tasca d'Almerita in the enchanting surroundings of the Lipari (or Eolie) islands.
