Yquem of the Loire?

Maybe not quite in the same style, but this producer is one of the best in Vouvray. Brilliant wines that seem to be in suspended animation as they slowly evolve from their crisp and focused youth through to their lovely, mature old age. This wine is still quite youthful in color, just now beginning to show some maturity on the nose - only moderate sweetness, with lovely underlying acidity, complex, beautiful mineral undertones keep it lively and fresh. A real treat! Serve with mild spice Asian cuisine, seafood, fois gras, lobster!
