($24) Medium red. Musky red fruit aromas are complemented by notes of herbs and dried rose. Hefty, palate-coating cherry and licorice flavors could use more definition but pack a punch. Pretty serious for a basic wine, finishing with solid grip and an echo of bitter cherry.
