(filtered last week) Good bright, dark red. Fresh aromas of cherry, chocolate, flowers and pepper. Suave and sweet, with fresh cherry fruit complicated by earth, leather, pepper and spices. Pavelot's recently filtered cuvees come across as less rustic than the wines awaiting filtration. The long finish features a fine dusting of tannins.
