89 Points | International Wine Cellar , February 2011

Full ruby.  Powerful aromas of blackberry, kirsch, licorice and black tea, with a subtle floral quality adding sex appeal.  Rich, palate-coating dark berry flavors are firmed by juicy acidity, which adds back-end cut and lift.  Picks up a bitter cherry pit quality with air and finishes with a jolt of spiciness and very good length.  More masculine than the Domaine de la Tour du Bief bottling and in need of more patience.  89.
